Controlling pets, that's a Taurus. These pets love the finer things in life. They'll prefer the best seat in the house. They'll want to be in front of the television. If you let them, they will sit for hours just watching the TV with you. Be sure to hide that remote though. Just because you have it, they will want it and will try to take it from you.

These pets like to plan for their future. Don't be surprised to find that your pet has their very own bomb shelter stocked up with all sorts of goodies (i.e.. bird parts) for coming disasters. Don't take their stuff, they will get crazy. They are extremely possessive. When it comes to their food, even if they stop eating, don't take the bowl away until they let you know that they are done with it. They are the pack rats of the zodiac.

If you have visitors to your house, make sure the Taurus does not see them leave. Your pet will assume that since they are in the house, they now belong now belong to him (or her). You will then have quite a battle on your hands just trying to get your friends out of the house.

Highly obedient, they will protect you as one of their own possessions, which of course, you are. Like it's sign, it will stand it's ground when feeling threatened. If you are willing to allow them to move at a slow pace, they will do what is asked of them.

Happiest when eating the finest foods. Watch their weight, as they do not know when to stop eating. They will eat everything they can get their little paws on.

You may find a Taurus cat scratching in their litter boxes for hours at a time. It's normal. They aren't neat freaks, they just like the feel of kitty litter between their toes. Even though they do better in a country setting, they can manage well in the city with an ample supply of potted plants available for digging in.

These cats are slow to anger and can take quite a few pokes to the gut before they decide to retaliate.
