Wait, That's Water
March 17, 2008
Sometimes parents can do things that seem so mean. It isn't until afterwards that you realize it was for your own good.
I got a bath. It was terrible. I was completely soaked. I fought for the first thirty seconds, but with those soft paw nail caps on, it was useless. I couldn't get a grip on the tile. After a while, it was kind of nice.
I didn't like the grooming I had to do afterwards. I didn't want to be towel dried so I tried to do it all myself. I gave up and was eventually air dried. That was a very weird experience. The air was just a tiny bit warm and it kept blowing my fur in the wrong direction. I felt like a cotton ball when it was all over.
Mommy had surgery, healed and then had an allergic reaction to something. I sat with her some and she seemed to like it. I tend to be good at just sitting down. It is a skill I work on often.
My paw is hurting me again. I won't go to the vet. I refuse. The simple mention of that word makes my fur stand. My nice vet said the only option was surgery and even then it wouldn't help much. The last thing I want is having those crazy people knock me out. Then a cast. No thank you!
I think I should go ice cream my paw. That will make it feel better. After that I'll practice my sitting and probably sleeping. Night Diary.
