Skittles' Diary

My Dearest Diary,Babies and Chairs
February 10, 2005

I thought I could live without it, but now I know better. It's been cold and I have rediscovered the warmest spot in the house, daddy's chair. He has a few computers running which heat up the room a little, plus his chair is positioned right in the path of the vent. The window blinds are opened so that I can enjoy the sunbeams and just soak it up. The only times I am disturbed is when a certain someone wants to use one of his computers. I think my warmth is more important, personally.

I just had a visit from a certain someone. Mommy still calls him my boyfriend, but as I have said before, he is not. He acted like he didn't even see me, but I made sure he knew I was there. The window is open, so I didn't need to make that much noise.

I have been spending a lot of time with mommy's baby nephew. He is only four months old, so I like to check on him often. I often snuggle on the couch arm just to get a better look. I am really not that obsessive about my people, honest.

Mommy mentioned something yesterday about shots. I am not sure if she was talking about my shots or the baby's shots. I thought she and his mom were talking about the baby's but later I heard the word vet. I've been hiding quite a bit due to this. I cannot stand to get shots. I ask, who really does?

Well, I'm going to go watch and make sure Mr. Romeo doesn't try to come back and then it is off to nap before I go to sleep. Night Diary.
