Siren Chickens
November 10, 2004
Oh sweet, sweet blanket. How I love thee. Mommy finished knitting a giant blanket and I absolutely love it. I think I may be getting one for Yule. I better be getting one! Ever since it was put on the bed, I've been sleeping on it. I hope I will be getting one for my bench by the window too. That would be great! I would sleep there all day long if that were the case. I just can't even begin to describe how warm and squishy the blanket is.
Once again I was on restrictions for a while. I had no ice cream, no tv, and no computer. I kind of did something bad the week before last. You see, there was this chicken and the bones were thrown into the kitchen trash can. Well, the trash can lid wasn't locked like it usually is. One morning I heard the magical song of the chicken. The siren chicken sang it so beautifully that I was drawn to it and just had to have it. I guess it didn't help my case that I did it twice.
What else has happened since I wrote last? A presidential election was held. I don't talk politics due to the fact that this is mommy's area of expertise. I'm glad she's taken a break from it though.
The only other eventful things I can think of, besides a ton of birthdays is that quite a few folks got the flu around here and I set up a catster profile.
Oh, I almost forgot. The squirrels are F-A-T right now! Since we probably won't be having any more hurricanes this season, we put the bird/squirrel feeder back outside. They are coming to visit and get food for the winter!
Well, I think I will test out a new section of the new blanket now. Night Diary.
