More hurricane drama
October 19, 2004
Oh what a month it has been. I've been a little busy. There are lizards that need to be caught and destroyed and we are waiting for the new roof. Oh, we had another hurricane and then two days after that a new cousin was born. All I can say about that is, he smells funny.
I've been banned indefinetely from the back patio. The hurricane did a lot of damage to it and there is no ceiling. I can't wait until it is done though. I heard talk of nice carpet. I hope it is green shag carpet. That way I can pretend I am hunting lizards in the grass. That is much more exciting than chasing them around on the bare floor. I just hope I don't get one that bites back again. I'm not sure that the newest generation of lizards knows about me and my stealthy hunting capabilities. I will teach them.
We had two chilly nights. They were nothing compared to the old place. It's still reaching into the 80s during the day. I would give up a few lizards for a few chilly days. Those are the days that the windows are opened and the lizards have let down their guard.
I think I was depressed for a little while. With all of the hurricane drama going on, I spent a lot of time either in my kennel or above the washing machine. Things got better a few days ago. That was when dear mommy had a birthday. That was when I had ice cream. There hasn't been much ice cream here lately, but that was a big treat. I don't normally like peanut butter, but I have discovered my love for peanut butter milkshakes. How could a cat not love something as wonderful as a milkshake.
In other news, it would appear it is time for a vet visit. Everyone keep me in your thoughts. I have to get a few shots this time around. I think I am due to go in December, but it will take me that long to work up the meditation I will require to get through this. The only good thing about it is that I will make sure I cry enough to get lots of catnip and toys. Speaking of catnip, I think I will go have some. Night Diary.
