Thinking of Autumn

I think mommy just bought lavender scented litter. Why would she do that? Isn't lavender supposed to be relaxing? I don't want to fall asleep in my litter box! I bet she would love it if I decided to hop up on the bed after I woke up! She hasn't put the new litter in, but the package is purple and it says scented.

I've developed a method for kicking daddy out of his chair. It involves a lot of gentle nudges with my nose and paws. I won't use my nails on him. I'd never be allowed in the chair again if I did that. He's pretty good about sharing the space with me, so I will be nice.

It seems that Ivan will not be coming to visit, but we are getting some rain from him. There is talk of a new tropical storm out in the Atlantic. I know I can't wait for hurricane season to be over.

In other news, I may have another cousin born on the Autumn Equinox. AJ was born on the equinox almost four years ago and my yet to be born cousin may be born on the same day. That's just what I hear. Autumn means it will be cooler outside and closer to the end of hurricane season. Maybe I will actually be able to go outside for a while without getting too hot.

Hey, I smell something good. I think it might be spinach. Oh how I love when mommy makes spinach. She makes this pie-like dish that is really good. Not that I would know that or anything. I would never try to clean the dishes for her.

I think I'll go make sure there isn't anything left on those dishes and then see if anyone is having ice cream. I know there is some because mommy snuck me a tiny bit this afternoon. Oh, the full stomach I will have tonight! Night Diary.
