Missing Sunbeam

Missing: One sun beam. Full of light and warmth. Typically likes to shine right through my favorite window. If found, please release.

I thought we were clear of the thunderstorms but apparently I was wrong. It rains in the morning one day, at night another, and in the middle for good measure. The grass is going to grow before my eyes at this rate. How am I supposed to watch any birds this way? I did manage to see a lizard today, just before it started to rain.

I've been sleeping a lot lately. My paw was bothering me a little, so I have been forbidden to jump on the shelf above the dryer. The highest I have climbed lately is the kitchen counter and even then I got in trouble. I'm never going to have any fun now.

Mommy and daddy have been extremely busy working, so I have had limited access to the computers. I don't know how they use more than one computer at the same time, but they seem to be able to do it. I'm squeezing this in while they have dinner. I checked it out and boy is it not anything I want. If they have dessert I may have to head into the kitchen. I think CSI comes on tonight, maybe they will watch it and have ice cream at the same time. If they did, I think I would have to rank that with a catnip moment.

I have a new cousin coming in a couple of months. I've since learned that baby yarn is really nice for cats. I borrowed a test swatch of mommy's. Hopefully she will make me some catnip dim sum with some of that yarn. If you are being nosey mom, I would prefer it in the white, not the blue.

Well, time to search out for some ice cream. Oh how I do like ice cream. Night Diary.
