Birthday shopping

The new Doctors Foster & Smith catalog (for cats) came in the mail the other day. Seeing as it is my birthday in a week, I've been going through and circling the things that I want everyone to buy me. I don't think I picked out too much, but I managed to dry up the marker! I saw some cute furniture that I think I should have. I think I may have to draw a heart around those.

What else is new? My nails have finally started growing back some since being clipped a few weeks ago. I thought they would never come back. All I could manage was pawing at mommy in the morning to wake her up. By the way, my morning routine still works! I thought she would figure out some way of ignoring me by now.

There is a mean blue jay that is emptying the bird feeder almost daily. I think that the blue jays are going to be getting their very own feeder so that the poor other birds don't have to go digging around to try and find what the blue jays have dropped. The doves don't seem to mind. They love to hang out there in the morning and afternoon, taunting me to no end.

I have a new blanket. Mommy was bored one day and decided to use up some really fluffy yarn she had leftover. It's just my size, cushy, and it really reflects my heat. I love sleeping on it. I think she needs to knit me a bed out of that stuff, but I already have enough beds.

Well, I think I will go take a nap now. It has been a long day chasing imaginary things around the house. I need to get some rest before I go to sleep. Night Diary.
