Road Trip

What an interesting day I have had today. Lots of sneaking of food (don't tell daddy though) was done. I groomed myself twice today, even getting between the toes. I slept a lot.

Also today I learned something very interesting and good. Mommy was getting bags packed and ready. Of course I had to make an attempt to get her to take me along. While I was climbing into the bag mommy said, "You know Skittles, you really don't need to do that. You are coming too!" I'm going with mommy! I get to travel with her. I'm going on a Road Trip! I'm so excited, so very excited.

This is my first real long distance road trip. Three hours in a car to go sailing wasn't really a road trip. This is two whole days of driving from one part of the country to another. I will get to meet lots of people, see new places and maybe try some new foods? I just asked mommy and she said the food won't be that different. Well, I don't know about that, but we'll see. I'll also get to see my nannie, grampa, grandma, grandpa, cousins, aunts, and uncles and more! This is so exciting. I am going to try and take a lot of pictures.

This of course means I won't be on the cam. However, it means I will probably update my diary a lot more often. Mommy said she will let me use her laptop if I don't like how the other computers feel. The only condition is that I don't claw off the keys to the laptop when I get upset. That's only happened twice. I don't know why she keeps bringing that up.

Well, I think I'm going to get a nap before I hit the road. Night diary!
