Birthday kitty

Today was my birthday. I'm five years old now.

I was up early hanging out with daddy, but went back to sleep when he left. Boy did it rain today. It just rained and rained all day. I slept in until it was almost time to eat. I think I would have slept right through the feeder alarm if mommy hadn't woke me up to talk to Shalyn. Nannie had called earlier, but I was too tired to talk, so I just listened and twitched my ears. That seemed to work.

It got really cold tonight. I mean really cold. It's so cold I have to sleep in my kitty kuddler. Usually around my birthday I can just hang out on top of the kitty condo and be comfortable.

I almost forgot to tell you what I got for my birthday. I got a neat crystal, catnip, a sisal/yarn mouse, and three, yes three new balls with bells! Oh and I got a teaspoon of milk. No cheese though. That would have been the best, if I had gotten cheese too. Maybe next year.

If it isn't all wet outside tomorrow, I might see about going out and walking around. I need to start getting more exercise. Mommy said she's willing to take me out if I want to go. I checked the weather online and it said it was going to be windy and chilly, but not rainy. Well, as long as the grass is dry, I think I can handle it. I think.

Well, I think I'm going to go to sleep now. Night Diary.
