The excitement

Well, how exciting can today get? Mommy let me have the leftover "cheese" from the macaroni and cheese she got at a restaurant near our house. It's the best leftover cheese there is! There wasn't a lot, but boy was it good.

Mommy also mentioned that she was giving me an extra special treat tonight just before bedtime. I can't wait to find out what it is. I hope it's wet food. Please let it be wet food, please!

I wonder what all the niceness is about. I hope they don't plan on taking me to the vet's office. That new lady is a big meanie and not just because she's a vet! If I had to pick between the two of them, I'd definately pick my first vet. At least when he gives me my vacinations, he gives them to me gently. I'm not due for any vet visits, so I wonder what this is all about. I'm going to have to keep an ear out. Maybe I should sleep under the bed or something tonight, just to be safe.

Mommy is going to visit my cousins and everyone for Brittany's birthday. She's not planning on taking me. I'm not going to try and go with her, she's got one long day of travelling and I don't want to have to go through that with her! Apparently there weren't a whole lot of decent flights to get there. At least she doesn't have to fly halfway across the country to reach a stop over. I've heard of those flights and they are not fun. I'm going to have to make sure she calls every day though. I hope she brings me back a lizard or two, fake ones are ok too!

I'm going to go pretend I'm ready for bed to see if I can get that surprise a little early. Night Diary.
