Chicken Delights

Oh boy oh boy. Today was full of so many ups and downs.

The weather was beautiful up until almost dinner time. I spent most of the day. I've been spending the past few days curled up in my bed. It's been rainy for quite some time. I was so happy to see the sun today. My little eyes even hurt when I first saw it.

I've been getting plenty of snacks lately. Good thing I don't have to go to the vet for weight check ups. I would be in serious trouble. I'll just have to do a little more crazy running around to work it off, that's all. I'm going to miss when Aunt Nita and Uncle John have to go. Oh the yummies.

Well, the day went on and I slept most of it. I got up a few times to request food from mommy. She didn't give me any. I finally got fed at my usual time. Nothing exciting there.

The excitement came when daddy got home. Mommy had fixed chicken for dinner. Daddy liked it. Mommy thought daddy liked it a whole lot. Then she started to wonder where I was. She found me. I was hiding in the corner with my back to everyone tearing into the biggest juiciest piece of chicken I could find. It was so good. I was actually amazed that I was able to carry a piece away from the kitchen like that. It must have been all of the excitement that gave me the extra energy. Man it was good. Daddy was fuming mad at me. Mommy thought it was funny and so did I for that matter, but I think I've crossed over to daddy's bad side now. I think I need to be an angel for quite a long time to recover from this one.

I'm going to go to sleep now. I think that is the only safe place for me now. Night Diary.
