The Parents Return

They are home! They are home! I'm a happy kitty now.

I spent this morning with Auntie Nita and Uncle John. I think they've forgotten what it's like to have me around. I needed to sleep with someone, so I climbed onto the blankets with them. It was so quiet. I dreamt of food. Sweet food, happy food. Good Food! I oh so love food.

Mommy didn't bring me home anything. I was a little disappointed in that, but I guess I will survive. She fed me a little extra as a treat. I also go to play with my catnip bag. That thing is so good. It is a little canvas bag with my favorite kind of catnip in it (Cosmic Catnip) Absolutely yummy. I was rolling all over the kitchen floor with that thing. Holding it between my paws and just sniffing it. Yummy.

Daddy is quite red. Mommy is red too, but she's starting to turn tan, like me. I think there was a lot of sun at this place they went. We had clouds here, not a lot, but some. I hope mommy and daddy aren't hurting. It looks kind of painful.

Well, I think I'm going to go and bug mommy while she is sleeping. She went to bed early, so this should be fun. Afterwards I'm going to sleep. It's been a busy day with my parents return! Night Diary.
