AJ's tooth and mine
April 3, 2001
AJ got his first tooth. It's on the bottom, in the front. I bet he looks funny. I like my teeth. I don't like having them cleaned though. They do lots of not so fun things to me. The morning before they have to check to make sure I'm ok. Then they give me this sleepy stuff. Of course they expect me to eat the food that they give me, but my mouth hurts.
I really don't like the vet. My poor little body can't stand all of the poking and prodding. They say I'm cute and adorable, then they go and do such painful stuff. No thank you.
Mommy made something today and I didn't like it. It tasted yucky. She said it was egg salad, but she used some sort of weird tasting stuff in it, so it didn't taste like the normal egg salad. It was so yucky. I couldn't eat it. I couldn't put myself through it.
You know what I miss most about being a kitten? Everybody thought you were so cute and they let you do anything you wanted because you were learning. Now I get in trouble for doing just about anything. I knock something off of the desks, I get in trouble. I knock something off of the shelf, I get in trouble. I tear a hole in the curtain, I get in trouble. I was just trying to stop myself from falling. It was the only thing I could grab a hold of. What was I supposed to do. When I knock things off, it's only because I'm giving them a little durability test. If they can't stand up to being knocked off of a shelf, why should someone want them? I don't know how to make everyone realize this. I should start a letter writing campaign, or maybe I should sign up as an official durability tester with a big company. I'll think of something. I'm a pretty smart cat.
Well, I think it's bedtime for me. Night diary.
