Skittles' Diary

My Dearest Diary,Skittles Bowl 2001
January 28, 2001

I had a bad day. Actually it was closer to I made mommy have a bad day. I was very insistent on knocking things off of anything I could climb on and I decided to do this all while mommy was trying to take a nap. She was really really mad at me. There's just some feeling I get when I push things off of shelves and cabinets. It's a feeling of control almost. What's even more fun is if it's overtop of mommy or daddy and it falls on them. It cracks me up.

I got up early today because one of the neighbors buzzed early. They had locked themselves out and needed some help to get in.

The sun was just pouring in through the windows today. I groomed and groomed until there was no where left to groom. I got deep between my toes, behind my ears, and all along my back. It just felt soooo good. I frolicked around with my toy alligator. Mommy said she will pick me up some more when she goes to visit nannie and grandpa. She said I'm too dangerous to get a real lizard. Nannie has a bunch of them in her yard. Some are supposed to be bigger than my little alligator! That's big.

The Superbowl was today. I watched a little bit of it. Mommy told me there was going to be a commercial with squirrels in it, so I had to watch for that. It was funny and it had nice big playful squirrels in it. The running of the squirrels would be cat heaven. Can you imagine that?

I'm still waiting to hear about our new car. Mommy and daddy are getting a little upset with the car dealership. They are being slow about finding out the location of the car. Apparently they had to order it and it's taking a while to get here. Daddy is calling tomorrow to find out when it will be here and if they don't tell him, mommy is going to sit on the phone and wait for them to tell her. I just want to see it. I keep hearing so much about it that I want to give it my little exploration test.

Well, I guess it's bed time. I'll talk to you later diary. Night Diary.
