Skittles' Diary

My Dearest Diary,The big box
January 14, 2001

Whoa.. there's this big box in the house and there's another one of the suck o things. I overheard the term "carpet cleaner." I'll say. It shoots out water, brushes it and then sucks it back up! I'll be avoiding the place that thing is being used. I've been having the best time in the box though. It's so big and so much fun to play on.

I slept quite a bit today. I'm trying to keep to those typical cat habits that everyone talks about. It's hard. I've been drinking a lot of water lately too. Before the water fountain I didn't drink a whole lot of it. It's good for you mommy said. Water that is. For all animals I think. It keeps you hydrated and it keeps you so you don't get all funny. That's a good thing.

I didn't even watch too much tv today. I was so busy playing with that box or sleeping that I didn't have time. Oh and I discovered some new pong balls. They are neato. Really light and noisy when they hit something. I played ball for 15 minutes without getting tired. The only thing that stopped me was mommy got up and went in the general direction of the kitchen. This kitty shall pass up no chance to get food of any delicous kind! Consider yourself warned!

The mailman came today. On a sunday! They had to bring an overnight envelope. Wow, that's so neat. I always thought that they had Sundays off.

It's supposed to snow some tomorrow. I'm not sure of the details yet, but I'm sure mommy or daddy will tell me about them. That or else I'll hear it on the news. There are so many news stations up here. I can start watching local news at 10pm and keep watching it until about 3am. I guess if I was a big news fan, I'd be set to become an insomniatic cat. Those words don't look right together. There can't be such a thing. Not according to everyone I've talked to! Hmm?

Well, I'm going to bed now. Time to curl up in the Kuddler and dream a happy dream. That usually involves some sort of food related dream. Night diary.
