Doing it for science

Just call me Skittles the Science Cat. I've been hard at work testing out the automatic feeder. So far the results are to my liking. However, I must say, they are not to mommy's! Daddy seems to find my testing process amusing, but mommy finds it more worrying. Don't fret. Soon I will have my review up. As this is a 5 day feeder, don't expect anything until after Friday. I only started on Monday.

I heard that darn construction again. Mommy must have heard it to because she grabbed me and covered my ears. It wasn't that loud, but I guess she was just being cautious. Thanks mommy.

I had a little incident today. I was being a bad kitty and climbed into the open area of daddy's desk hutch. In normal cases this wouldn't be a problem, but daddy kind of has his full of everything and anything. I got stuck. It wasn't very fun. I couldn't back up, I couldn't go forward, I was there to stay. Mommy finally found me after I meowed a little bit. I was happy to get out, after mommy took this picture of me. You would think that she would help me a little quicker, but nope, not my mommy!

Well tonights events made up for getting stuck. I had a wonderful treat of extra food, thanks to more experimenting with the feeder, and I snuck a ton of goodies from mommy making the apple pies. Kitty dreams do come true!

Today was Ms. Manders last physical day at work. I'm going to miss her. I always get extra treats when she and Alex come over. That's ok, that's what email is for. And when they and Dobie get all settled in, maybe they'll set up a camera for Dobie, and we can link up with them. That would be neat.

Well, that's about it. after the hutch incident I hid most of the day, and then I got so stuffed from the pie goodies, I slept. Now I think I'm ready for bed. Night Diary!
