The Slobberer among us

Water stinks! All it did last night was rain, and all it did for most of the day is rain. I'm so tired of rain. There's a chance of rain tomorrow. Oh joy. Can you tell I'm not excited?

I was hoping for a lovely trip outside, but nooooooo, Mr rain cloud had to come and show up. Not to mention the fact that I didn't get much sleep last night. Mommy was sick. She thinks she might have caught a bug from someone on the airplane. Anyhow, she was up all night and therefore kept me up. I've got to get to bed early tonight. At least earlier than usual. Daddy will be up late.

Apparently there were some T1 problems at work, and so daddy has been on the phone with Verizon, MCI, and all of those big places that actually own the wires that get us all connected on the internet. Finally, around 9:30pm EST, they got everything fixed. Boy was daddy happy. So was I, because that meant daddy was home, and not at work! Anyhow, daddy didn't get to do any surfing at work. That stinks. He's going to make up for it tonight I guess.

Mommy thinks the tunnel cam is ready to go. She's going to do some test runs this weekend, and see how it looks on the homepage. Everyone cross your paws, or fingers for those who have them. Did anyone happen to see mommy this evening? She was laying in front of the tunnel cam, playing with me. We were being goofy. I grossed her out, I slobbered all over one of my fake mouse toys. She grabbed it and started saying "Ooooh, Skittles that's so gross. Ooooh Skittles." That was funny. My mommy is so silly.

I got fed twice today, and some milk in between. I think mommy is trying to wean me off of the milk, but I like it. She gave me just a tiny bit. Daddy wanted me fed early, because apparently I was bugging him too much for food while he was trying to work from home, before he went to work. Darn 24/7 connections, just can't get away from work these days.

I watched some of the Olympics Opening Ceremonies. Though I am not happy about the IOC, I still like the fact that countries are coming together. So I watched some of it, and then changed the channel. Mommy was not happy about that. I changed it just as she started to get interested. She does the same thing to me sometimes.

Well, I think I should hit the hay. Like I said, I didn't get much sleep. Let's hope tonight is better. Later diary!
