Auf Weidersehen Mr. Levine
September 5, 2000
Ode to my window, one day I'll write it...
I hung out all day. The windows were open, the breeze once again, ruffled through my fur... Oh yeah, and mommy got the suitcase out! I snuck inside, but to my dismay, it was empty. Apparently she wasn't leaving just yet. I'm going to have to find out when exactly she is going. I hope she brings me a new toy. I love toys.
It was mighty chilly today. High of like low 70s. Burrrr. I stayed curled up when the sun wasn't shining in on me. Brrrrrr.
Apparently there is talk of turning the tunnel cam into the fountain cam. Or maybe both. I like them both. Mommy said she is not going to set up another cam, because she's running out of places to mount them. What's a few holes in the wall I tell her, but she doesn't listen!
I was left alone a while in the morning. Apparently mommy went somewhere with Daddy. I'm not sure where. She didn't bring me anything back, so I guess she didn't go anywhere interesting. However, she did tell me that Levine's fabric warehouse was demolished. Harold Levine went into retirement. Mommy loved going there. You could get fabric for anything there, and it was always nice and fluffy feeling. Mmmm. I remember mommy talking of a turtle print polar fleece. I like polar fleece, and veloux. Green veloux is the best. In the winter, if I lay on it long enough, green spark show up in the dark. Mommy gets a big kick out of it.
I still need to write the review for the fountain. Maybe I'll do that while Mommy's gone. Mr. Jamie won't be over until the weekend, most likely, so that will give me some time at the computer. I'll come up with something witty and wonderful. Hey, maybe mommy can email me some pictures of my cousins, and I can put it up. That would be so neat. Everyone can see just how cute these two kids really are. Aunt Tonya won't let anyone take pictures of her, because she's silly. She's also VERY pregnant (8 months) and so you know, the flash might make her go into labor. You never know with that kind of thing. Ok, so it won't really make her go into labor, but it would be neat if it could! Of course then I would have my new cousin, and I could talk to him. I bet he would totally understand what I was saying.
Well, I think I shall head to the bed. Until next time Diary...
