Rain, Rain, Please go away

Power outage! The power went out, so I imagine you folks noticed, no picture! It looked very menacing all day, even when it wasn't raining! There were lots of outages. Weird, I think. You'd think Humans would master the art of electricity. After all, they think they are sooooo smart. See, we cats can create our own electricity, That's what the purring is really for. Just kidding! Or am I???

Aunt Nita and Uncle John left today. No more sneaking treats with Auntie Nita.

I had a little incident early in the evening. I kind of fell off of the hutch. I caught myself, and made it look ever so graceful, like I was really jumping. Anyhow, On my way down, I kind of knocked some stuff into my water fountain! Oops! I didn't mean to! It just kind of happened. Know what I mean?

Daddy is having a guys weekend. So it's just me and mommy hanging out all weekend. It's going to be great. She'll take me for a walk, we'll eat ice cream, and watch 1980s movies. A Blast! We started watching Enter the Dragon a little while ago, but Mommy and I have seen that so many times, we figured we would surf some. Mommy on her machine, me on mine. Now that I'm off of restrictions, it's kind of nice. Mommy is still a little peeved about the unplugging, but she'll get over it.

I have a kitty craving for some kind of treat. Maybe some sort of, I don't know, meaty substance. Like, hmmm, chicken! I always dry and sneak left over chicken from Daddy and Mr. Jamie. They always leave a little tiny bit left. Usually if they haven't remembered it after about 20 minutes, I'm set. They will have forgotten about it until Mommy complains to them. It's in between these two moments that I go in for the taking. A little bit of chicken goes a long way in this tummy. I savor each bite. Yummy!

I saw some new cat liter. I guess that means someone may clean out my litter box. Probably mommy. She's leaving soon, so I guess she wants me to have clean litter while she is away. Isn't that nice of her? If she really loved me, she would take me with her so I could see my nanny and my cousins! She'll just bring me back a toy or something. It's not the same. I want to see my nanny and my cousins!! I'm going to have a new cousin soon, AJ. I had better get a chance to see him! He'll be my size!

Well, I think I will surf the internet a little more before bed. I went for a good 5 hours and all I could do was sit and watch the rain fall. No birds, no nothing! I at least need a few moments of digital catnip!
