Good Vibrations
August 27, 2000
Well, mommy got up kind of early. Early for a Sunday that is! Nannie called, and she and mommy talked. I was too busy trying to get mommy to feed me, so I didn't get to talk to Nannie. I'll talk to her another day.
I played in the tunnel a lot today. It's nice and warm in there. It's nice being a cozy kitty. The A/C is back on. Mainly because the windows being open wasn't helping mommy's sinuses. When winter comes it will be better.
Mommy made some of her famous dip. I snuck a bit of the creamy stuff from the lid. I was so sneaky. I am always sneaky. If my humans fed me what I wanted, when I asked, they wouldn't have this problem of me sneaking stuff. Like the cracker I snuck. Oh, I shouldn't have mentioned that. Don't tell anyone, ok? Thanks.
So like I was saying, winter will be coming soon. Actually fall has to come first, but that's cool. It looks really neat up here. There are all of these leaves on the ground and everything. When mommy went to school at that weird college, they had lots of leaves everywhere. She even framed some and gave them to Nannie one year. That was the year I was adopted.
I'm getting the knack of this new fountain. I found out that there is a storage tank on it, and that if I lift the top up hard enough, I can open it! It's so neat. Mommy and daddy seem to like it when I drink out of it. They are strange humans.
I spent most of the evening trying yet again to get someone to feed me. They never get it. This diet just doesn't work! I'm not sure how to explain it to them, to get it across.
There is this special spot near the AC that kind of vibrates. I love that spot. When I was younger, I used to hang out there all day and all night. I still hang out there in the evening some times. Usually it's on cold days, or when I am feeling stressed. It's great for my tired muscles. Mommy and daddy didn't fix the spot when they bought the house, because I liked it so much. Gee, I guess they do care. I don't realize it some times. I'm too blinded by my need for more food.
OK, I think I need to go now. It's getting kind of late. Mommy and Daddy need to go to bed, which means I have to tuck them in. Night Night!.
