Wasabi lives

Well, mommy left with daddy this morning, so I was ready to live it up all by myself in the house. Unfortunately, mommy came back. She did bring back some breakfast, and of course she didn't share with me.

I guess mommy was sick, because she took a nap on the floor. I gave her the good ole' lick and pat to make sure she was ok. She hugged me and said she was tired, and it was comfy there. Mommy's always weird.

While mommy was on the floor, she decided to edge on over and look under the fridge. Guess what she found. My smiley face bally! I couldn't believe it was there. I hadn't seen it in forever. That is my most favorite ball. It makes the coolest noise. I've never seen another one like it. If I could buy a million of them, I would! I played with it most of the day. When I wasn't playing with it, I slept.

I did manage to learn something. Mommy's volume control for her computer speaker system tastes really good! I kind of tore it down. Mommy was a little mad, but she fixed it up and attached it with velcro. She said, "Now when you take it off it will scare the heck out of you and maybe you'll leave it alone." It wasn't very nice. Now that I think about it, she was probably more than a little mad.

I ate. Nothing special today though. It would have been nice to get a treat (hint hint mommy) but I didn't.

Aunt Tonya is 8 months pregnant now. That's my mommy's sister-in-law. Maybe I'll get to meet my newest cousin sometime soon after he's born. Maybe I'll get to meet any of my cousins!! 2 more days until Shalyn's birthday. I hope she likes the presents I got her. It took a while to pick them out. Mommy said she would like them. I hope so!

Once daddy got home I had him play car with me for a little while. He gets this friction car going and tries to get me with it when he lets go. We did that for a while, but I got tired. Mommy made dinner and I tried to sneak some. I was successful. When daddy was taking his dish to the sink, he dropped some off of the plate. Before he was able to pick it up, I had it in my mouth and was off with it. Yummy! I like food.

After my food scavenging, I took some R&R. I relaxed on Daddy's desk hutch. The same place I fell off of a few weeks ago. It's a good thing daddy caught me. I'm not sure what would have happened if he wasn't there. Daddy didn't really like the scratching though.

I got to watch mommy feed her Mopi fish. She named it Wasabi. I think that was for Auntie Nita. I'm not sure. Mommy is afraid her Mopi fish will start to float at the top of the tank. It looks so real when it does that! Eek.

I think I will head to bed now. Maybe I will start thinking of fish in my sleep. Oh, what a splendid dream that would be! Night Diary!
