Great Nannie Update
July 30, 2000

Mommy got home yesterday. Yeah! I waited until today to write, so I could get a complete update. I'll be passing it on momentarily.

Mommy brought home a ton of stuff. She got me this giant peanut shaped thing, and when you open the shell, there are birds inside and they tweet. It's great. She brought back a laser light for Ashes. That's daddy's friend's kitty. She's still a baby. So I think she'll enjoy playing with the red bug a lot! Mommy got a bunch of stuff for the house, and a few Christmas presents. Mommy always says she has to get the presents when she can, since Daddy doesn't much like going to the mall. Luckily for us, there is online shopping!

Ok, time for the great nannie update. She's stable. She's on a tube that they may take out tomorrow, Monday. She's still in Critical Care, and it could be a while before she gets out of the hospital in general. That's about all for now. Anything else would require more detail and I don't want to keep asking mommy about it. She might get upset or something.

My cousin Brittany is starting school in 5 days mommy said. I would like to go to school. Maybe one day someone can take me for show and tell. That would be fun. Mommy always complained at work because people were allowed to bring their dogs to work, but mommy couldn't bring me to work. Humph. I'm glad mommy quit that place.

I was a little worried while mommy was gone. I got so worried sometimes that I started chewing on stuff. Just a box or two, and the carpet. The balance was upset in the house. I couldn't help it.

Today has been pretty dull. Mommy and daddy slept in late and I slept in with them. I played a little laser with mommy, and did some sleeping. Yeah, mucho exciting!!

Mommy fed me a few minutes early today. You would have thought she would feed me real early, since she hasn't been the one feeding me lately. Nope, not the case here! She fed me a whole 2 minutes early, and didn't give me any extra, nor any treats. She's so harsh! Well, at least she didn't feed me late. I should be grateful for that!

Mommy and daddy went grocery shopping. I almost snuck out the door, but mommy caught me real quick. Maybe if it doesn't rain tomorrow, mommy will take me out. I hope so. That would be fun.

My grandma and grandpa are here. Daddy's mommy and daddy. They aren't staying with us just yet, but they are going to come visit! They always play laser tag with me. It's fun.

I guess I'll get to bed. Mommy said I have to get onto a schedule. No more staying up late she said. She's no fun when it comes to bedtime! Talk to you later diary.
