Trails & charm

Mommy was gone all day today! It was weird. Mommy left when daddy usually leaves, and daddy left when mommy usually leaves. I was so confused. Mommy got home early and we watched TV together. Lots of stuff happening in the news. Missing people... there were a couple of missing people. It was kind of depressing, even for a cat like me.

Come to find out mommy went with auntie Sheryl to take Jessica to ice skating practice, and mommy took care of Nicole and played with her while they watched Jessica. She said it was fun, but cold. Next time she said she will wear pants.

Mommy cleaned out my litter box too. It was neat. She got a new scoop a while ago and she said it worked really neat. She got all of my umm, well, umm, you know what, out of the litter box! I don't think mommy really minds cleaning the litter box, if everything is "ok" in there. That's weird. A human not opposed to cleaning the litter box! Wow. Unheard of!

Daddy got home at a decent time tonight. I don't like when he comes home late, because we don't get to spend a whole lot of time together. I need my quality daddy time.

Well, daddy pulled out my cat-a-trail, and I've chilled in it most of the night. Mommy got out the cat charmer and fly-fished with me. What I mean by fly-fishing, is she cast it like she was fishing! It was fun. I caught it a few times and once it got all wrapped in my paws. I sat at one end of the cat-a-trail and mommy tried to get a little piece of the charmer into it (which is hard since mommy was 2 ft in front of the cat-a-trail) and I would come lunging through the tunnel and try and get it before mommy took it away. It was a blast. I got tired and now I am resting. it's close to bedtime, so I may get ready now. You know, do your nightly grooming, food requests (generally denied) and water drinking. You know, the usual! More later diary!
