"Request Denied"

We had a visit today. Daddy's aunt and uncle from Nova Scotia came for a quick visit. I slept most of the day. Mommy put my cat-a-trail up because I started mauling her foot. I thought we were playing, but I guess when I drew blood, she got upset and made me hop out so she could put it away. I didn't mean to do it, honestly!!

Mommy had some chocolate milk and refused to give me any today. I walked off with my head held high and shook it off. I'm going to be mature about it. I'll just get someone else to give me some! It's not so difficult! I know that much!

Mommy took a nap and I freaked out! I thought she wasn't going to feed me or something. I kept trying to wake her up every five minutes. It sort of worked. She got up in time to feed me. Phew!

Daddy got home a little after mommy fed me. He didn't work too late today! Yeah. I think he mentioned something about mommy going to work with him tomorrow, sort of. I think she is spending a lot of time between the mall and somewhere else. Maybe she will buy me something that I can review, or maybe she'll review something! That would be neat!

I hung out on the bottom floor of my kitty condo a lot of tonight. It's all warm and cozy there. It's kind of small, but I get to curl up into a ball.

I think my grandma and grandpa will be coming to visit once mommy gets back from visiting her nannie. That will be fun. They play with me. I bet they'll sneak me some milk and treats! It's a grandparents job to spoil their grand"kids" and all. I'll just work my kitty charm on them. A few gentle paw pats, a lick or two and a whole lot of purring. That should do the trick. Take it from me. Humans think paw pats are the cutest thing. They'll do anything if you give them a paw pat. Just don't use it too often. Only use it when you really want something. Humans will realize just what you are doing if you use it too often.

The weather lately has been kind of blah lately. It rained off and on today. There were a couple of birds that came to the window a few times. I was rather sad about that. It's nice to get visits from the birds, even if I'm not allowed to eat them. Mommy may be a vegetarian, but daddy isn't. I should be able to eat birds then, right?

Mommy has been talking to more and more of her friends, from back in the "old" days. I guess that is pre-me days. She's seemed happier to receive the emails! So much has happened to so many folks. I guess life is going by pretty quick. Humans need to sit and watch the birds sometimes. I think mommy mentioned something about in Europe, they may not work as hard, but they get as much done. I wonder how that is. Weird huh?

I guess I'll get going. I'm going to see if Daddy will play cat ribbon charmer with me... or "ribbon dancer" as mommy calls it. I get the biggest kick out of it! Either that or laser bug. We haven't played that in a while. That's fun. Later diary!
