Sinfully delicious
June 24, 2000
Oh sweet nectar, yummy, yummy, how I missed it. It was delicious. I thought I would never savor that taste again! Oh yes, how yummy! Daddy got some milk on his way home! He had to go in to work to do some stuff, and he picked some up on his way home. It was absolutely wonderful. Mommy gave me a tad, just so I would stay out of the fridge. I think my pawing at the door got to her.
We had some problems with some folks being loud, and they shouldn't have been, so mommy put the smack down and called the police. They are not so nice. They are rude. I don't like them. I'll be happy when they go!
I managed to sneak onto daddy's hutch when he wasn't looking earlier. I love climbing up there. I can walk all the way across from daddy's hutch, to mommy's hutch, and never have to step foot on the ground. It's a great look out location. Plus, I can play with all of the toys on mommy's hutch. She has tons! It's like a collection or something.
Today I lounged about most of the day. Mommy and I played tag a little. I let her win a lot. Mommy and I also played with the cat teaser thing. The thing mommy said was like a "ribbon dancer," whatever that was. Maybe I can get mommy to explain that one.
Explanation from mommy
Ribbon Dancers are these long thin wands that have an attachment at the end where pre-cut ribbons of satin, silk or other fabric, with grommet holes, would attach. Gymnasts use them even today as part of their routines. Back in the 80s/90s/ these ribbon dancers were sold on TV for little girls to run and dance with. When I act like it's a "ribbon dancer" as Skittles sometimes says, I am jokingly running around mocking the commercial, and spinning the fabric around. That's all. End explanation
Does that clear anything up? Yeah, nothing for me either! Oh well. I guess that's what search engines are for!
Ok, I'm feeling kind of sleepy, so I'm going to go now. Later Diary.
