Sisal ball, visitors & bad breath

Wow. Things have been really busy around here. There are 2 new people here. They aren't really new, I've seen them here before. I think they are daddy's aunt and uncle. Yeah, that's them. They are here visiting from Utah. I guess the snow isn't falling there anymore either.

Things have been so busy lately that I haven't gotten to write in a long time. Dobie's mommy and Daddy are gone on vacation, so Ms. Amy is going to watch him half the time and Mr. Mike is going to watch him the other half. Lucky, he gets lots of food

Daddy has been busy at work. He's been really neat about letting me sleep by his feet. He hasn't kicked me in a long time. He always kicks me in his sleep. Maybe he is dreaming I am a monster or something. He doesn't like it when I climb on him just before he gets up. He said something about kitty morning breath. I'm not sure what that meant.

Speaking of breath. I guess that means that I should have my teeth cleaned. My mommy and daddy don't want me to develop a dental disease, so they are getting my teeth cleaned. I'm kind of scared, but I don't think mommy and daddy would let that vet do anything that would hurt me. Still, he gave me a shot when I was little and it stung really bad. I cried really hard, and my daddy bought me some new toys. I guess it was worth it. It made me not be sick anymore!

Mommy brought out some of my old toys and I was having so much fun. There is this sisal ball thing with feathers on the top and beads inside... Boy do I love that thing. I get it between my front paws, and go at it with my back paws and the little beads inside shake all around.

I've been getting exercise with the laser light. Daddy gets me going good. It's a stealthy little red bug. I'll get it one day!

Mommy read an article that said that cats generally don't get enough water in their diet, and that is why wet cat food is good. Now she has started doing something different. I get most of my food dry and some of my food wet. I don't really like wet food, because I haven't had it in so long, but I'll eat it if I am hungry. I usually am.

I found a new warm spot. Mommy's scanner. It's in a prime location. Right beside her desk and right in view of the front door. It's great. I can be ready for anything there.

The birds have been distant lately. I think they don't like the new suet bell too much. It is in one of those red bag things. I don't like it. Maybe daddy will take it out of the bag and some birds will come tomorrow.

I think I will go now. I have things to do, and people to see. Ok, so I am going to go to sleep now. Goodnight.
