New litter & a fab book find

I didn't do too much again today. I like to sleep. Is there anything wrong with that? Sleeping is good for you. Yesterday afternoon, after dinner, mommy and daddy put the new suet bell out. There were birds. But then today all it did was rain, so I slept. No birds come to visit when it rains all day.

Mommy cleaned my litter box today. I like when she does that. This time she really cleaned it. She dumped all the old litter into a trash bag, complained about how heavy it was, and took it into another room. Then she washed out my box with hot water and soap. It didn't smell like litter, it didn't smell like anything. Then she put fresh litter, and the lid back on. Of course I gave it my usual test run. It's good litter. I'm happy with it.

Mommy went searching online and found a book that she and daddy were looking for. They heard a Veterinarian talking on NPR a long time ago and really liked what he had to say. Well, they couldn't remember the name of the book he wrote, and so they never were able to get it. Well today mommy found it. It's kind of hard to find, but none the less, she found it! Yeah!

I actually got some treats today! Mommy hasn't given those to me in a long time. I guess I was sneaking too much table food, and she noticed. I just suckered mommy into feeding me early. I just pout and annoy her until she gives in. She never gives in until about a half an hour before feeding time. I'll take it as soon as I can get it!

Ok, I think I'm going to rest now. My stomach is full, and I feel sleepy.
