The Parent Chase

Today I spent most of the day trying to get my mommy to feed me. I guess that's nothing new. I am always hungry. Ever since the vet put me on this stupid diet, all I can think about is food. It's not fair, Dobie gets to eat what he wants.

I spent some time in front of the camera. With it being spring time, there are birds everywhere. I think mommy is going to put a new suet bell out, so that means tons more birds. I will be in front of the camera a lot then. Those birds can go through a suet bell in 2 days. That's a lot. I wonder why other people don't put bells out around here.

I went to check the mail with mommy. That was exciting. I made mommy chase me. I was having fun running around. I won't ever run away though. I did my time on the streets as a kitten, and I don't want to do it again. It's a wonder that I didn't ever have kittens myself.

I miss my daddy. I'm always sitting under his desk and on it, just waiting for it. I even find myself sitting in front of the door waiting for him to come home. He likes to play laser light with me. He's good about that. He never shines it into my eyes. My nannie sent mommy and daddy 3 lasers for them to use with me. They are so much fun. I know the humans have to be careful, because they are dangerous. One day, I'm going to figure out how to catch the red bug. I'm devising a plan.

I think I will go mope until someone feeds me. That usually works. That and I have to go to the litter box.
